The Jo Short Brim Palmilla is a comfortable straw hat designed with Palmilla straw for a lightweight fit. Finished with a grosgrain band, brim taping, and metal headwear plaque, this one is great for taking on adventures or dressing up any everyday look. And thanks to the hidden size adjuster under the sweatband, there's no stress on choosing sizing. Palmilla straw is endemic to Northwestern Mexico where it is native to Durango, Sinaloa, and Sonora states. The leaves are harvested, sorted, dried, and stripped into increasingly fine widths and then woven in a basketweave pattern. The straw is softer and much lighter weight than most palms and makes a beautiful weave.
